We had a course on Karate basics and Tai Chi, Photos of the event, click here.

The Karate basics were covered by Bob Hague 6th Dan, who went into great detail on the use of Kime and the generation of power.

This was followed by Gary Shaw himself a long standing practitioner of Martial Arts.

Gary covered Chi Gung as a warm up session  and went on to cover various Forms of Tai chi practice including his explanation on the weapons forms.

Gary went to great lengths to also explain  Chi and how energy flows .

Tai Chi is a form of martial arts dating back to the 13th century which combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. This is practiced around the world as a health promoting exercise.  This session is open to everyone including family and friends.  The price is £5 per person (families of two or more maximum you pay is £10).   Suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities. It would be great for friends, parents, aunties, uncles and even your grandma and grandpa who I'm sure would thoroughly enjoy this session. Remember you only pay £10 maximum for a family. Please encourage family members to attend this afternoon session

Bobs friend Gary will be taking this session.
